The Multicultural Centre Public Art Gallery is located on the main floor of the Multicultural Heritage Centre. It is one of seven Public Art Galleries in Alberta and the only one located in rural Alberta. Through regularly changing exhibits the gallery promotes local and regional artists from across the province. The gallery has an opening reception for each exhibit, which enables the public to meet the artist and learn more about the artworks.

Since opening our doors in 1974 MHCPAG has exhibited the works of renowned artists such as Alex Janvier, Allen Ball, Royden Mills, and Lyndal Osborne to name a few.

In addition to the Multicultural Heritage Centre Public Art Gallery is the Community Gallery located in the Dining Room of the Homesteader’s Kitchen on the lower floor of the Old Brick School House. This space showcases emerging artist building professional exhibition experience as well as for established artists in the process of creating new bodies of work to incubate their ideas through public engagement.
