Open Farm Day: Culinary Experience

Join us for open farm days with artisan markets local food, garden tours and more!
Bringing in the Harvest – PRE-REGISTER
Enjoy a light dinner at the Multicultural Heritage Centre, and learn a little about canning, preserving, freezing, and other ways to cope with an abundant harvest from your garden.
Led by the centre’s Organic Master Gardening department head Jennifer Burns-Robinson, and the centre’s Red Seal chef Kevin Waddell, the lesson will blend theory and practical knowledge together to give beginners the confidence to take the first step towards home preserving techniques, and know-how to take those with some experience to the next level.
At the Multicultural Heritage Centre we teach gardening. With accredited instructors you can become an Organic Master Gardener. Tour our gardens, orchards, community gardens and stunning grounds. Learn a few tips and tricks for your next garden. Free.
