Susanna Barlow 63°26’58”N 10°25’55”E
Susanna Barlow is a multi-media artist currently based out of Berlin, Germany. She recently graduated from the Masters in Fine Arts program at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, where she received awards from Arts Council Norway and BKH for her on-going artistic research examining the ecology of the self and non-human material world. She also holds a Bachelor in Art and Design from the University of Alberta.
Barlow has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions internationally; some recent exhibitions include Vaernes at RYMD (Iceland), Kyoto Hanga 2016 at Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art (Japan) and Only By Analogy at Peggy Phelps Gallery in Los Angeles (USA). She has received grants and awards the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts, Alberta Foundation for the Arts and Edmonon Arts Council. Her work is collected by the Bruce Peel Special Collections Library at the University of Alberta (Canada), Xuhui Art Museum in Shanghai (China) and Grafik Edition Bentlage (Germany).
