Learn what research resources are available and recent changes for vital records and homestead records.
April 20 – A Primer on Western Canadian Settlement: Discover what brought immigrants to Western Canada and examine the documents that tell their settlement history.
April 27 – “But I Don’t Have Any Interesting Relatives!”:
Find out how to discover your own interesting relatives and which documents assist you in telling their stories.
Free Saturday Session April 30 10am -3pm
Genealogist in the House – John will be on site to answer your questions and provide assistance. Call the Centre to reserve your 20 minute session with John. Indicate briefly what you would like to discuss during your visit.
Drop-In– You can drop into the Archives room to discover what resources we have that may assist you in your research.
